I solve brand problems through photography
Welcome! I’m Francisco, a commercial photographer and digital artist based in Vancouver, BC. I found my calling in the creative industry early on in life when, as a young student, I’d sit for hours totally immersed in drawing fan art of my favorite characters. Through constant sketching practice over the years, I learned how to bring graphics to life by mastering light, the control of line strokes, shadow placement, color theory, etc.
Naturally, I pursued a career in the arts at university and graduated as a Look Development Artist for Film. I went on to work in the advertising and publishing industries, where I collaborated directly with Art Directors and clients. As my scope of work expanded I discovered a new passion for photography, so I bought my first DLSR and took on work as a Photojournalist, traveling all over Bolivia. From the high Andes to the deep jungle in the Amazon, I became fascinated with capturing unique stories, landscapes, and wildlife.
To formalize my studies as a professional photographer, I moved to Vancouver, enrolled, and graduated from the Vancouver Institute of Media Arts. Nowadays, I work with brands, personalities, and restaurants to promote their products, themselves, and bring their best ideas to life.
